I was contacted by a recruiter and we hit it off. She got me excited about working for such an incredible company, and mentioned that my experience matches exactly what they were looking for, and that most of the SDRs come out of college and it would be great to have someone with actual sales experience on the floor. I felt great and ready for the next round. At the time, a new SDR manager was hired, so they mentioned to get back to them a week later to schedule my in person interview.
When I got back to them, they said they're going to go with someone who is further along in the process and they'll keep me in mind if any openings come up. While it was surprising, I asked for feedback as to why they said I would move onto the next round and change their mind a week later. I never heard back. There are open positions now so I e-mailed the recruiter about another interview with no response.
I really don't know how other candidates experiences were, and maybe I'm an anomaly because of their situation, but they handled themselves very poorly and their internal recruiting team seems to be very discombobulated.
Seems like good company culture, positive upbeat people- like 3 interviews and a case study though, a bit excessive for an entry level SDR role. Interview with sales, Director, software, programmer, and sales manager.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BetterCloud (New York, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview process included 4 interviews; initial phone call with a recruiter, a zoom call with director of sales which included a written assignment, a casual zoom call with a peer, and a zoom call with 2 sales managers which included a verbal assignment. Everyone was nice and made me feel good about the company every step of the way. I stayed in contact with the recruiter during the whole process and he was there to answer any questions at any point.

Question 1
What motivates you? What sales experience do you have?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BetterCloud (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2020
Interview
The interview process was incredible, from start to finish. BetterCloud contacted me through LinkedIn and I was quickly put into contact with a recruiter. I was in communication with her from the first point of contact. There are about three stages of the interview. The first stage of the interview involved a standard phone conversation with the recruiter. The second stage of the interview process involved submitting a writing exercise for an email you would potentially send to a prospect. Part of the assignment also involves choosing a potential prospect and company. If you move on to the final round, you will be asked to present about a 10 minute presentation regarding something you are passionate about. It is really an opportunity for the panel to see you personality.
The process itself was very straight forward, and as long as you are prepared, should be very seamless. They are always there to answer any questions you have. I felt extremely welcomed and comfortable from minute one.
