Interview
Pre-screening interview was conducted over the phone with 4 department heads. The interview was conference call style. Only 2 managers had questions and the whole interview last about 30 minutes. The majority of the interview was answering questions about my work experience. You will be asked to go into detail about a particular project that they found interesting.

Interview
Applied through college recruiting event back in 2017. Was called within a week for an onsite interview that lasted about 4 hours. The interview process included questions by a primary manager, two directors and an HR representative. There was also a CAD performance exam and a plant tour. After concluding the interview, I was called back in about a week with an offer.

Interview
Handed in my resume and talked to the VP of Engineering and Office Manager at a UMass Career Fair. I was contacted 2 months later for an onsite interview at their facility. The interview was half a day long, approximately 3-4 hours.
First I met with the Engineering Manager and we talked for a bit. Standard questions. Why Engineering, Why Bete, Favorite engineering class, 5 Things about yourself, strongest attribute. Then I met with the lead design engineer. He also asked very similar questions but none of the questions were repeated. They were all more kind of just get to you know you questions.
The Lead design engineer then gave me a CAD test using autodesk inventor. He had me first draw a part based off of a drawing, then dimension out a model to see how i think, and finally make an assembly. He helped me along the way with buttons and using inventor since I was not familiar with the program. It was timed for 45 minutes, but he repeated that it was okay if i did not finish as the time limit was just go we could have time for everything else. Note that I did not finish the assembly part of the test.
Then I went through a engineering principle test, to test my knowledge of engineering. Some of the stuff was not what you usually learn in school, such as whats the difference between a tube and pipe. Some welding questions, and other basic principles such as Laminar and turbulent flow. Basic nozzle selecting based on flow and angle and Bernoulli's equation.
I then met with the VP of engineering again and he went through with standard questions as well. Nothing technical.
That was the end of the interview. I did not here from them until another 3 months, and got an offer.
