I interviewed at Berry Appleman & Leiden (Dallas, TX)
Interview
Mainly asked about ability to handle more than one task at once. Very friendly. Need to be curious and flexible. They really value your work background even if it's not immigration law. Be confident and be a good person to work with.

Interview
The interview process consists of an initial phone screening with a recruiter and an interview with two members of the firm via Microsoft Teams. Both interviews were conversational and were fairly easy.

Interview
I interviewed for an entry-level Immigration Assistant role. The interviewer was five minutes late and did not acknowledge it. She asked about my immigration experience and two other questions, then mentioned they were looking for someone with more paralegal experience but would keep my resume on file. I wasn’t allowed to ask any questions, and the interview lasted only five minutes. Her tone was monotone, and she spent most of the time looking at another screen. I’m glad I didn’t get an offer, as I wouldn’t want to work at a company where that attitude might be shown to clients.
