They sent an email asking me to answer a few questions related to my experience and work authorization. I provided the necessary details. After two weeks, they sent another email asking me to book a slot from the given time slots. I provided a few options, but I never received the interview invitation.
After another week, they sent an email again asking me to book slots for the following week, which I did. This time, they sent the invitation the day before the interview. Once the virtual interview started, they introduced themselves in a manner that was not very welcoming.
They asked for my introduction and inquired about my work authorization again. I mentioned that I was on an OPT visa, which allows me to work for three years without requiring sponsorship. However, the interviewer then stated that they were looking for a permanent employee who wouldn’t need visa sponsorship in the future and abruptly ended the interview.
After all the preparation and waiting, I was totally disappointed to hear this.
