The interview process was long because I applied during the holiday time. But throughout the process I had constant communication with the recruiter. The recruiter was lovely and very helpful. Our initial phone screen was enjoyable and every communication after that felt genuine and personal. 1:1 interview with the hiring manager was awesome! It was more like a conversation. I genuinely had a good time and I felt like I bonded with her. The second 1:1 interview was with a colleague from another department. This one was both technical and conversational. I didn’t think I did that well during this interview because I lacked some of the experience the job required but I still advanced to the final round which was great. The final interview was with the VP of the department. This interview was also very conversational, I had a good time talking to her.
I received an offer the next day, however I had to reject it mostly due to personal issues. But my experience was great and would consider applying again.
PS: advice for out of state candidates. If you are willing to relocate, make sure you ask about relocation assistance during the phone screen. For this job the company did not offer one, although they tried in the end but could not afford it.
