      Associate Interview

      24 Jul 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Vancouver, BC
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bench Accounting (Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2020

      Interview

Phone screening was simple and straight forward. However, I didn't receive a detailed response about potential growth opportunities. The interviewer didn't seem interested in my skill set and what I had to offer and was busy typing out my responses rather.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Describe a time you faced a challenging situation.

      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bench Accounting

      Interview

Quick and easy. Initial zoom interview with a HR person, second interview with 2 team leads. About 30 mins and 1 hr respectively. Pretty standard questions, focusing on times you did not succeed more than personal strengths. I think they just want normal people who are decent at human interaction.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Name a time you failed to meet a goal, and what did you take away from that experience?
      Answer question

      Question 2

A customer calls and is extremely angry about an error found in his books, how would you deal with this situation.
