Bel Air Bay Club interview questions

After a telephone interview I was invited to a personal interview with the HR representative and the membership manager, and subsequently an interview with the owner/manager, which all went great. A couple days later I was invited to come to another interview, this time with the controller. The controller was nice but though interviewer, but all in all also the interview went great. Subsequently to this interview the HR rep told me, that I was the person, that they want to hire. They checked my references and told me I was good to go for the final step of the hiring process - the drug screening. The following day I wanted to go to the clinic for the screening but then I received an e-mail, that I should put the drug screening on hold, and I need to come in to have another interview. So I came in for another interview a couple days later with the chair of admissions department, who told me I was a perfect fit for the position, and I am going to hear from them soon with the information on when to do the drug screening. And then suddenly I hear nothing from them again so as the week was almost over I finally called them, and they told me that they went with another candidate.
