The initial phone interview caught me off-guard, as a recruiting specialist had called me from an off-site facility to interview me on the spot. Of course, I agreed to the impromptu interview and was thankful that I had my resume and a job description for the role nearby.
After the initial screening, I then interviewed with the hiring manager (Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs) and had a fairly pleasant conversation.
The next step involved a series of in-person interviews, in which department leads from Regulatory Affairs and other departments sat down with me to discuss my qualifications and my potential contributions to the company, especially as the were in the middle of major global changes.
