I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (Capitola, CA) in Aug 2013
Interview
Printed & submitted application, made small talk with staff. Hiring manager called several days for group interview the same week. Group interview was in the middle of mall kind of awkward. Manager was up front about low hours and explained what she was looking for in an employee (upbeat, willing to make strong customer connections, etc)
She only asked about work history and was curious if any of us had any sales experience. She also asked about our favorite fragrances and products. She called me back 3 days later offering a position.
