I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Old Lyme, CT)
Interview
I was contacted by the secretary in a form of recruiting (high turnover ratio with new employees)
There are three steps to the interview process:
1-listening to a presentation from a manager and filling out a questionnaire
2-If invited back you have a brief one on one with some behavioral questions and why you think its a good fit for you followed by another questionnaire.
3- Third and final time you interview the hiring manager and then he asks some final questions
Why are you interested in this position at Bankers?
Why do you think this career is fit for you?
Do you mind using the phones?
Do you think you have a good support system?
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
