First, the CEO DM'ed me on Linkedin. One day later we(CEO & me) had a telephonic conversation wherein the CEO briefed me about the company.
Next, It was a Backend task rolled out by CEO implementing APIs and Workers using DRF. I was very excited about the company and submitted it in just 3 days by hosting it in www.pythonanywhere.com.
After 21 days, they reverted me saying that my code was perfect and we could have a third and final round of interview. I reverted them immediately saying that I was available to the immediate next slot which was in 20 min since I received email. CTO called me and asked me my current projects etc. I answered those and he asked me if I researched about the product, I said what I've understood when I've first explored their product soon after its launched. I'm among the first few persons waiting for the product since I've been following their pages eagerly.
After the interview, CTO asked me a day time to wait for his reply. Its been 64 days since then and despite sending followup, I didn't receive any email/ message / phone call.
P.S: Although you're doing well with the product, its a minimum courtesy to inform a person who's awaiting your response. Productwise, you're the best. But, please give a value to others time as well.
