I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Boynton Beach, FL) in May 2018
Interview
After I spoke with the practice manager on the phone, he let me know they would run a background check and once that cleared they would schedule my in person interview. I first met in person with the practice manager who asked me some basic questions about my past experience, what skills I felt comfortable vs uncomfortable with, and where I envisioned my future going. Then I was given a tour of the hospital and scheduled a shadow shift. After my shadow shift the practice manager offered me the job and asked me to call him at a later date with my decision as I was interviewing at other locations at the same time.

Interview
The interview was in-person just like regular phone interviews. They first ask you to introduce yourself and describe your experiences. Then, they ask about certain skills like catheter placement, blood draw, and surgery monitoring. I think it lasted about 20-30 minutes.

Interview
The interview was conducted by both a hospital manager and veterinarian. The questions seemed pretty standard for this position. All in all a straightforward interview. The employees there seemed content.

My manager was super nice and responsive when it came to the hiring process. I went from application to hired in less than a week. Great experience. Would recommend to others if they love animals
