Interview
I had had several short telephone conversations with the hiring partner before the actual interview. At the interview, I was first given an overview of the firm, their practice areas, the typical day in the life of a law clerk, and also career opportunities. The hiring partner then asked me generic questions (preferred areas of law, plans of studying abroad, academic ambitions). After 30-40 minutes, I was given a tour around the office, followed by a 30-minute-session with two current law clerks who were there to answer any questions I had. Once we were done, the hiring partner came in again to wrap up the interview. I was given a written offer that same day.

Question 1
All of the questions were fairly standard; when I'd finish university, whether I planned on doing a PhD (and whether before/after the bar exam), why I wanted to work at Bakers, what my preferred areas of law were, etc. I do not remember any surprising or particularly difficult questions.

Interview
The interview was conducted by a partner and a senior associate. Overall, the interview went well with interviewers asking general behavioural questions. They seemed pretty calm and chill. They started off with some small talk about sports and the weather which made the process a bit less intimidating for a law student.

Interview
The process comprises of application round and two interview rounds. It is one of the best process and interviews I have had. The interviewers are friendly, and nice. They have a genuine interest in getting to know you.
