I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at BSM Lean Consultants (Cambridge, MA) in Sept 2016
Interview
Phone interview: The phone interview is a friendly conversation with a manager to better get to know you. The key to this part is understanding what the company does.
In-person interview: Basic interview questions, talk about your career and try to relate it to what they do.
Presentation: Most of our job is presenting so this part you should be on your game. Practice what you'll say, have data in the presentation, and if you have data be prepare be drilled on it. Act as if you are presenting to a client. A client won't take your word for it, they need solid concrete data to backup your word.
Math test: The test itself is fairly simple math, but the questions are random and you have a very short time to complete it. There is really nothing you can do to prepare, but just knowing how to do the math. This is what they want. When in a meeting with the global director of operations you won't have time to pull out your phone and look up how to do the percentage increase you just have to be on your toes.
Data analytics test: Again the test is fairly easy, but you have minimal time to complete it. They will give you a large data set and ask you to answer a few questions with numbers & graphs. Knowing the right formulas for shortcuts are key in this part.
