I applied through university. I interviewed at BNY
Interview
I sent my resume after seeing a posting at school. I received a call two days later from a recruiter and we spoke for about fifteen minutes. We set up an interview for a few days later. The interview was in two parts, but it was very laid back. Both of the interviewers did not seem to really care because they were not really involved (I haven't seen either of them in the office...ever). After the interview I did not know how to feel, but the recruiter called me back within three days and gave me the offer. I had two days to accept and go take a drug test. After that I did not hear anything until my start date.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The two interviewers had packets that they read the questions from. Neither of the packets really related to anything I do.
It was easy and straight forward. Learned about the rule and responsibility. Made it a mix of qualifying questions and relaxed conversation. Met with four different individuals during the process and all were very similar. All seemed engaged and wanted to hire good talent
you had to apply, then you had to have a Skype interview, and then they called to review and tell you if you were hired or not. I'm only filling this out to get research for a project.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BNY (New York, NY) in May 2015
Interview
the interview was easy and relaxed. I met with three people in person, one (HR) on the phone and then an additional one on one on the phone before receiving an offer. I got the feeling that the last interview was just a formality and they had already made their decision.
