Applied for several HRBP jobs.
Got a call back from a recruiter for a particular one (not sure why others weren't address--didn't necessarily care this was seemingly the most senior role
Screened in; scheduled phone screen with HM
Scheduling complications and last minute changes but spoke with HR--pretty standard interview
Screened in--got called for an onsite with the HM (HRM job VP title though) and previous incumbent
No stress logistics--no changes, easy to park, walk, find, straight up to HM, interview mostly for my questions, passed onto previous incumbent all went fine, even a bit overtime (usually a good sign though in this case despite the positive interview, I knew I wasn't going to screen in further)
Sent two email thank yous--no acknowledgment, no response, nothing--RED FLAG #1
Lots of lulls in hearing feedback RED FLAG #2, had to contact recruiter each time to request it.
About a week later I got a job alert posting the SAME job I applied to--of course I was furious
When I did ask (calmly and professionally mind you), was told by the recruiter no update
Literally 15 minutes later I got a Taleo "...you were not selected email..."
Of course that futher infuriated me but I never fail to realize, these are the people with whom I'd be working. No thank you.
SOOOOOOOOOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISMISSIVE FOR AT LEAST 6 HOURS OF TIME SPENT SHAME SHAME
