I applied in early January, didnt hear back from the company until early march. I received a request to go to a training event and interview in fort worth tx. The whole process took about two days, they provided airfare and food for the night. On the second day they had interviews all day and then took a drug sample.

Multi-stage interview and application process. If the company is interested you will take an aptitude test. After that, if you are considered to be competitive they will fly you to Ft. Worth for an informational and 1 on 1 interview session.

Multiple interviews. First one is done virtually via HireVue. Then if you are selected to move forward, you take an assessment then proceed into a second interview round with a company overview and location preference sheet.

Interview
After an online application and a self recorded online interview through HireVue, I was invited to Fort Worth for an in person interview. BNSF payed for the entire trip and hotel however I was expected to cover any additional expenses. The Hiring event, as they call it, took place at a local Marriott hotel and consisted of presentations and then a panel interview.
