Phone screening followed by remote interview. First interview is with HR then a panel interview by managers at different sites. Your direct manager is one of the interviewers and the others are from related groups.

I gave a 45 minutes presentation on my research and conducted a Q&A section for 15 minutes. Then I was interviewed by 8 scientist and one HR representative.

It started with a phone call with BASF recruiter, then 2 online interviews/ personality quiz and then on-site interview and one last Skype interview with SVP.
People were very nice and friendly at BASF, it had very international atmosphere and I liked the company's culture a lot. I didn't get the offer but I will apply for other job openings for sure!

Intense, 8h , no tour of the facility, panel of about 8 made up of scientists, HR and support staff. Questions about skills to perform job, testing fit is more important hence behavioral interview.
