I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at BAE Systems (Guildford, England)
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter about this position and given some details. I was interested and asked him to go ahead and send my application in. I was then contacted for a telephone interview. Due to the busy schedule of the interviewer my telephone interview was re-scheduled twice: once due to the interviewer needing to go offsite as per client requirements and twice because he was on leave on the date of the interview. I finally had my telephone interview three weeks later which lasted a little over an hour. I prepared to answer why I wanted to work for the company or my take on what the company does but the interviewer started with explaining everything about his company to me. We then discussed my CV which consisted of my walking through what I did in each of my previous roles. He then picked out specifics and asked me further about them. The most difficult thing I encountered was when he'd asked me specific examples of what I'd worked on in some of my previous projects and then I asked him some questions of my own. I got a call from the recruiter three weeks later after various chasing up on feedback saying that I had not been chosen to take forward to the second stage. I'm still trying to get feedback on why in order to learn and improve.

Interviewers put you at ease. Process was alright but long as too many back and forth between interviewers. Prepare for a case study. Also study your CV well as questions could be pulled out from it
