Axianta Financial Partners Financial Advisor interview questions

They saw my resume on Indeed, Linked-In or Career Builders and called even though I have no financial experience. They represented themselves as calling from Aegon. At the interview, they further said they were the Transamerica Marketing Dept. It wasn't until a seminar a day later, I found out, quite by accident, the company was actually Axianta. NOT Aegon, NOT Transamerica. Why would you misrepresent yourself, unless you have something to hide. Why be deceitful? I walked away and, yes, they took $100 to run a background check on me.
