I got a phone call to test my English skills, passed it and went on an in person interview with the hiring manager (AVIS airport manager in Brindisi, ITA) and her assistant.
I was 15 minutes early for the interview, they made me wait over one hour and a half.
Hiring manager was not interested at all in the process and rude, 90% of the interview was actually conducted by her assistant (no complaints about him).
I am 100% sure that she was working on other tasks (I have been able to look at her computer screen) as her assistant asked me about my previous experiences.
Multitasking is OK but during a job interview feels like you absolutely do not care at all about the candidate in front of you.
Checked her linkedin and I am sure that she never had experiences other than AVIS in Brindisi, this might explain why having had experiences in much bigger and busier companies across Europe was not regarded as something positive.
Provincial and rude, what else can I say?
Well.... very provincial and very rude.
