I'd like to echo the previous person who posted about an "Avidon Health" interview. I have never experienced anything like this and am very concerned that this is a scam. If this is a scam, it’s an extremely elaborate scam, which makes me incredibly sadden because Avidon Health does seem like such a great company to work for. The initial interview occurred on Monday 1/23/23, it was only text-based through the Microsoft Teams App. Similar to the previous person, I was asked questions over 2.5 hours. I received mainly one-word responses "interesting" or "brilliant". I didn't feel I had the opportunity to ask questions. Tuesday 1/24/23, I had a phone interview for 12 mins and was offered the job. I received emails from “hire@avidon.health” to arrange the interview and to formally offer me the position. I signed an acceptance letter, and submitted ID documentation and direct deposit information. Everything seemed “normal” afterward. Thursday 1/26/23, I chatted with my "supervisor" on Microsoft Teams and they said Avidon Health would send me a check of over $15,000 to purchase required tech equipment - laptop, web camera, headphones, software, etc. The person then asked for screenshots of my daily limits from my mobile bank deposit and seemed to be disconnected from the forms (direct deposit) and information I had previously emailed. Avidon Health has a notice about scammers on their website and I plan to call the company, but I wanted to post this NOW so that other candidates - who just want to be employed by quality companies such as the real Avidon Health, are NOT putting themselves at risk while in the process of seeking new employment.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Avidon Health (Portland, OR) in Jan 2023
Interview
I just finished the first stage interview process. A bit surprising to me, but it was all done with texting. I don't know if this is common these days, but it seems so much nuance is missed without seeing and hearing a person even over video chat. It also seemed inefficient - what in person would have taken 20 or 30 minutes we did texting over 2 hours. Of course I could multi task in between, but I can't imagine everyone interviewing has that kind of time flexibility. I also didn't feel like I could ask questions, and I don't know if I'm going to get to talk with a real person to ask those questions. I sometimes wondered if it was all canned - no real responses to my answers - just one word like "Interesting", "Brilliant"... That was weird. The up-side is that it allowed me time without pressure to think through my answers, and the questions themselves were well-thought out and gave me opportunity to show myself as a great candidate.

Interview
Phone interview which led to a zoom interview. Email communications in between which help set up the time and duration of the interviews to occur. After those interviews were conducted, a final zoom meeting occurred which revealed whether or not you were accepted.
