I applied online. I interviewed at AutoZone (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2020
Interview
Very Long, it took a lot of patience waiting on the background check, etc. In order to see if I was right for the team, they would ask me certain questions about cars wondering if I knew. But even though I did not they still believe in on-the-job training. This definitely helped me in the long run.
Very straightforward interview. Was taken to a seperate area around the back of the store with a table and chairs for the interview. Asked about vehicle knowledge, sales and cashiering experience. Was given the job on the spot with adequate training afterwards.

Question 1
Do you have experience multitasking dealing with customers and answering phones, stocking, etc.
Very easy not hard. I suggest talking with the district manager to get a job or a manager which are the ones with a Grey shirts. Overall not challenging. I think the turnover rate is high at this job though
Straight forward. Nice people. Created an easy listening atmosphere. Interview was conducted by HR and a store manager. No trick questions. At the end it didn’t work out for better fits from their end. No hard feelings.
