I was in college when I went to work for this company. My father forwarded me the position. I called the office and spoke with the general manager. He told me what the position and pay were going to be like, and asked if I was interested. After saying yes, I went to the location and filled out an application. He told me he would get back to me in two-three weeks. About two weeks later, he called me and asked if I was still looking for a job. I said "yes," and then told me I had the job. He asked if I could report to work on a Saturday, and I said "yes." And after that, I went to work with the company for four years.
