I applied for marketing assistant. Went through 3 interviews which were a waste of my time. The second person to interview me was only with the company for 3 months and already conducting interviews. I asked how we were getting paid and she replied that it was based off sales and then questioned me “Why? Do you think you’re not able to hit quota?” Kind of off putting if you ask me. Instead of reassuring me that I would be provided the tools to succeed, she made me feel like I wasn’t capable. By the third interview the position title was clearly changed to a sales role and I asked why. The “owner” said that this position makes more money anyway so did I want the sales position or not. It all felt shady by the third interview. I could tell that the owner knew I was questioning this whole company. I never received a call back and I am quite thankful I didn’t.
