Overall very pleasant interview. Coming from FAANG and conducting interviews there, I was surprised how "human" this interview was. Firstly there was a tech at home task in NodeJS. Having a brief experience in NodeJS, I really appreciated that I had unlimited time on the weekend to work through it and learn the framework/language. Very different from 45min algo questions in FAANG. No specific software design interview, there was just chat later with Head of Engineering and Senior Software Engineer. Felt more like a chat than an interview, again, not a 45min where you have to tick all (or at least 80%) of boxes.
