I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atlantic Residential (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2021
Interview
Probably different because of Covid precautions, but if they like your resume and experience HR will call you and vet you for an interview. Considering that goes well you will be contacted to set up a couple more interviews with the property manager and regional manager. It is very clear that they are focusing on having a strong team with a wealth of experience who can bring something to the table that others probably cannot.
If you do not get further in the process, do not let it deter you. They are very serious about having a lot of experience so after you get some more, follow up. They are a growing company and want solid professionals who will put in their time with the company and not chase the dollar signs around town like many leasing consultants.
Brief, spoke about customer service. Was asked to give examples, per any typical interview. Was an hour long, and followed up with a skype interview within the next week. Fine process.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Atlantic Residential (Milwaukee, WI)
Interview
Three initial phone interviews were missed by a corporate representative who spoke like a robot reading from a script when interview actually occurred. Second phone interview with current property manager was very professional and covered important topics pertaining
to company development and property. In-person third interview was with "regional" and current manager - regional
was late and then had lunch while I waited in main office. After waiting over 45 minutes past the scheduled time, the regional was ready to begin my interview. Overall, the interview was unorganized, unprofessional and the regional divulged the first and last name of someone from my company whom had recently interviewed for the same position! Considering the local Milwaukee area property management community and that everyone knows everyone, I was disgusted. This regional is a legal liability and not someone that I would task with watering my plants, much less a portfolio of properties and employees. This company is the perfect example of management incompetence.
