Interview
The application process was online, easy to upload resume, transcript, and cover letter. The interview was set up as a panel, which may intimidate some, but the partners/managers were very friendly and engaging. It didn't feel overwhelming or pressuring. They seemed to be interested in not only my aspirations, experience, and technical skills, but also in who I was at a person and where I saw myself in the future. After the interview I was asked to complete a written exam which consisted of some basic accounting principals, nothing difficult for someone who has an understanding of accounting. This was followed up with a phone call from the firm asking that I complete an in-depth personality and skills test which took 2-3 hours. After completing the skills test, it was only about a week, maybe two before I was made an offer.
The application process was through their website; it was very easy to upload the requested documents. I was called back for an interview. The interview was a panel style interview with three people in the room. The atmosphere was relaxed and it felt like they were really trying to get to know me. After the in person interview there was a basic bookkeeping test that was really just the basics of accounting 101.
