I applied online. I interviewed at Atherotech (Bengaluru) in Sept 2025
Interview
The interview process was quite unique compared to typical hiring flows. The initial screening was a short 30-minute round focused on background, motivation, and core technical skills. The main interview, however, lasted nearly four hours and was extremely hands-on. I was asked to design and build a small gaming app within the session, demonstrating my end-to-end thinking — from architecture and state management to performance considerations and UI responsiveness. After the build, there were several follow-up questions about design decisions, trade-offs, scalability, and maintainability. The whole process felt more like a collaborative deep dive than a standard interview, allowing both sides to gauge technical depth, creativity, and problem-solving in a practical, real-world context.
