I met the President at a UT Austin event where he was speaking about Athena Manufacturing and the ways that engineers use their degrees after they graduate. He imparted wisdom to us on what helped him as a graduate engineer as well as what they did at Athena Manufacturing. After the event I spoke to him about a part-time position at the company and he arranged for me to be interviewed the following week. The interview was with senior management where they asked me basic experience based questions as well as what my plans were with my degree.
