I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Gaithersburg, MD) in Oct 2011
Interview
Only good thing about this company is the salary offered. These guys are the best in DC metro area. But, career-wise stay AWAY! I get a sense that everyone on IT staff is new and has no direction to offer career-wise. Heck, the top guys I interviewed with (IT) did not even know the roles and responsibilities of the role I interviewed. The 3 guys I talked to all said different things. They are clueless and I saw this 'red flag' across all the folks I was interviewed by.
Hint - Always go through recruiters. For this job, I applied directly and got no response. I got an immediate interview when applied through recruiter.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Barcelona) in Aug 2023
Interview
30 mins screening call with a recruiter, scheduled a 30 min call with a Director. On joining the interview, the Director told me he had an urgent call in 15 minutes, but we would continue the interview on another day. Scheduled the follow-up interview that lasted another 15 minutes. The Director told me he enjoyed the interview and I had to expect to be contacted by the recruiter to schedule the last interview with the other team members. 6 days later I received an automatic e-mail stating they will not move my application forward, but I could ask for detailed feedback. When I asked for feedback, they ghosted me. I don't understand what's the purpose in lying and ghosting. This shows zero respect for candidates.
