      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Assemblers (New York, NY) in Feb 2019

      Interview

I responded to an ad and was contacted by a recruiter who acted as though I just hit the lottery jackpot for being contacted about this "opportunity". He proceeded to give me details of the work and inflated income expectations. Was told I'd be contacted by a manager in my area for a phone interview. About a month later I get the call from the area manager. The call was what I'd call a sales pitch. As expected, there was hype about the "potential" income as well as the abundant workloads. After agreeing to give the job a shot, I met with the manager later that week at one of the local retail locations that the company services. At this point I'm informed about what a typical day looks like, then more fluff about income potential. I was never interviewed. It was the manager trying to convince me that I should take the position. Not even trying to find out if I had relevant experience or if I even would be a good fit for the company. Seems as though they are desperate for workers as there is an exceptionally high turnover rate. There is a lot of misleading as far as income, workload, and the time it takes to assemble products.
