I applied online. I interviewed at Aspirion in Jan 2026
Interview
The interview process felt disorganized and unnecessarily time-consuming. Candidates were asked to complete an assessment before even having an initial conversation with the hiring team. In my opinion, assessments are more appropriate after a preliminary interview to determine mutual interest. Requiring candidates to complete work before any discussion can feel like a poor use of applicants’ time.
Communication throughout the process was inconsistent. There were multiple scheduling changes and delays in receiving meeting information. At times interviews were scheduled without links being sent, followed by additional back-and-forth messages to clarify next steps. This made the process feel unstructured and difficult to plan around.
Overall, the experience gave the impression that the hiring process was not well coordinated. A clearer interview structure and more consistent communication would likely improve the experience for candidates. It may be helpful for leadership or HR management to review the hiring process and internal coordination to ensure candidates receive consistent communication and a more structured experience. Improving oversight of the process could make the experience more efficient and respectful of applicants’ time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were fairly general and focused on basic concepts related to medical billing. They seemed more suited for someone with limited experience in the field rather than someone with a background in billing systems and claims processes. Because of that, the conversation felt somewhat surface-level and did not go very in-depth into my actual experience.
I was contacted for a virtual interview and then heard nothing back once it was submitted. They had poor communication. The virtual interview took about 30 minutes to complete and it was basic questions.
