      Graphic Designer Interview

      18 Feb 2024

      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Aspex Eyewear

      Interview

The Marketing Director contacted me by email and the online interview was scheduled. The interview was supposed to be with 3 people from the company, however, only two were present in the interview and there was no explanation or any mentioning why one person was not present. The interview was quite standard and I explained my experience and skills. Towards the end of the interview, they talked about the second interview process and they will get back to me for scheduling before the end of the week. They never contacted me again, even though I professionally and kindly asked after 1 week if there was any update for the next step. It is rude and unprofessional to completely ignore my message and refuse to communicate, especially when it was them who mentioned about the second interview as if it is going to happen as well as embracing my portfolio and telling me how great my work is. I don’t think it would be difficult to organize a simple email update/confirmation to candidates who are not selected to show minimum respect and appreciation for their interest in the company. Rude, very unprofessional, and disappointing experience.
