I was contacted by a recruiter for one position, and they didn't move me forward. However, the recruiter followed up a few days later for another position, and submitted my resume for that. I had a 45-minute Zoom interview with a couple of managers in the area, and they asked me about my background and how I'd function in their working environment. The recruiter had stated they would follow up with me after the interview, but that was 6 weeks ago. I'm very thankful for the interview opportunity and not upset I didn't get the position, but it is professional courtesy to follow up to let them know. I wish them well in their interview process.
