I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Arup (London, England) in Dec 2015
Interview
Relatively swift process. Probably around a month. After the online application, I was reviewed internally over two stages. I was informed after a few weeks that I had passed and could attend an interview. I had to complete a personality quiz prior to this.
The interview process consisted of a technical test for the design of a project.
I was then interviewed by two senior engineers about my answers and given the chance to talk through my thoughts behind my reasoning.
I was then quizzed on my CV.
And given a tour of the office after it was all over.
Online video interview. Asked to record 1:30 minute responses to 3 questions. Given time to plan answers and re-record if necessary. Questions were very general about why the job offer appeals to you
Applied online in October and then got invited to a virtual assessment centre that happened in December. The online application was pretty straightforward. The virtual assessment centre was a whole day type of thing, it consisted of a technical interview with two panelists, a competency based interview, and then a case study.

It was simple — you’ll receive a link to record a short, pre-recorded video where you share your experiences or answer questions displayed on your screen. The process is quick, clear, and easy to complete online.
