I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Arup (New York, NY) in Apr 2012
Interview
I met recruiter at career fair of my university, then a few months later they e-mailed me saying they had a spot open for summer internship and asked me if I was interested. I scheduled an interview at their office, there were 3 people, 1 hr and two senior engineers. Got the offer the next day over the phone!
It was really smooth and they were really personable. They also were really on top of the hiring process, I only waited a week or two to hear back in between stages starting from the first video recorded interview.
Two interviews with people on the team. not super hard. all behavior and no technical questions. Not a lot of time between interviews which was nice - didn't have to wait for that long.
completed virtual interview asked me to tell them about myself/experience, why I want to work at Arup, my graduation date, if I am eligible to work, if I will be available for the posted date.
