1. Got contacted by external recruiting agency 2. Recruiter discussed job title, salary range, and background of team I would be working with. 3. Recruiter facilitated scheduling first interview (video call) with someone from HR. Approximately 20-30minute phone call. 4. 2nd interview (video call) scheduling was also facilitated by recruiter. Met with hiring manager. This interview was approximately 1 week after the first one. Approximately 1 hour call. 5. 3rd interview (video call) scheduling was facilitated by recruiter. Met with my potential team members. This interview was approximately 2 weeks after the 2nd one. Approximately 1 hour call. 6. 4th and final interview was on-site. Scheduling was facilitated by Arthrex travel team to book airfare and hotel. This interview was approximately 1.5 weeks after the 3rd one. Lasted entire day. 7. Waited 1 month to hear about candidacy status - got contacted by recruiting agency. The interview process was straightforward and very typical in length. Team members were great to talk to and did a great job at making the environment positive and welcoming. My frustration is that it took a month of hounding HR team to receive the promised reimbursement for travel expenses incurred traveling on-site. Very bizarre, especially since this business flies out sales reps & doctors all the time as part of their daily operations. Also discovered they gave the job to a complete novice, remove the senority from the position, while keeping the same responsibilities of a senior engineer. Total bait-and-switch move. Be very weary.
