I had an initial interview with the hiring manager which went well. It was then radio silence for about two weeks before the talent acquisition person reached back out to let me know they were working on scheduling a second interview. The second interview was with two peers, who were both very nice, and, I feel that they were transparent about workload, culture, etc. Finally, after some time, I met with the hiring manager, the CEO and the CSO. I was advised I'd hear back in about one week. That last communication was on May 1st. It's now May 25th. I can't say I've ever been ghosted like this, nor have I had such long pauses between interviews with almost zero communication along the way. If I hadn't been proactive in following up I don't know if I'd have ever heard from them. Seemed like nice people, but not very considerate of my time or the overall candidate experience. And, for the record if the CSO reads this, I would have accepted the offer. I was not trying to leverage an offer for a raise at my current company.
