I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aristocrat
Interview
For the first round I gave an online test containing sections based on quantitative aptitude, verbal, logic and reasoning, attention to detail and computer basics. I got the mail for second round within 48 hours and had appeared for second online test the next day. Second test was entirely focussed on programming skills.
For a week I didn't hear from them after which they conducted a telephonic interview. Next, they contacted me after 5 days asking for my resume. I haven't heard from them ever since so I guess I didn't get in.
My overall experience was good and the test questions were just a notch above average. The only thing that disturbed me was the speed of the entire process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Trees are placed in a straight line at index positions starting from 1. We are to place monkeys on the trees such that each pair of monkeys are at maximum distance. If we're given the no. of trees and the no. of monkeys, write a function returning the maximum distance between two adjacently placed monkeys.
I was reached out to by a recruiter, met with team and they asked specific questions about resume and background. Team was very nice and company is fun to work at.
