      Concierge Security Engineer Interview

      10 May 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Arctic Wolf

      Interview

At the first interview with HR they told me the role I applied for (Cyber security analyst) didn't exist and it would now be "Concierge Security Engineer". The actual interview process was enjoyable and relatively easy to get through. The worst part was AFTER the three interviews they told me they now required new Concierge engineers to be fluent in German! Considering this was not on the job requirements and they only told me after the three interviews I think this is highly unprofessional from a large company.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Arctic Wolf (Waterloo, ON)

      Interview

During telephone interview, HR rejected due to no previous experience in the role which they can easily be known seeing the resume. But, they just call you without going through the candidate's resume. They have no knowledge about the role they are interviewing for.

      Concierge Security Engineer Interview

      30 Jul 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Antonio, TX
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Arctic Wolf (San Antonio, TX) in Jul 2021

      Interview

Being totally honest, this company seems awesome! From the initial contact with the recruiter to the last interview, everyone was very friendly and seemed genuine. The interviews consisted of one with 2 concierge engineers, asking various security related questions and questions about my background. The questions were tough but not unreasonably so. The second interview was with 2 supervisors and involved more technical questions and a roleplaying scenario to see how I would handle a potential adverse conversation with a client. What really stood out to me was during the interview, one supervisor told me that even if I got hired and found that this role wasn’t for me, that that was perfectly fine and they had other areas that might fit better, which really shows they value their employees. The only reason I didn’t accept this offer was due to having another offer for more of an engineering role. I would 100% recommend anyone to apply if they enjoy interacting with clients, performing analysis and making security recommendations.
