The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Aquatic Capital Management (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I was first introduced through a head hunter. The first interview was with the human resources employee about the company culture and structure. The next round was with the hiring manager, an SRE, about my job experience its relevance for the role and the responsibilities of the role. Then I did a take home technical. The next round was three back to back interviews on different technical topics. Overall I like their process, they had clear expectations and were organized.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aquatic Capital Management (New York, NY) in Jun 2024
Interview
Did an HR screen then the coding test. Spent a lot of time on it, thought my solution was really clean and robust. Unofficially heard I got rejected on the basis of style. Kind of disappointing, I figure they weren't really looking to hire.
