I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at AquaQ Analytics
Interview
Had a pleasant 30min conversation where we discussed my ambitions, motivations, along with projects I had listed in my CV. The interviewers were friendly and easy to talk to. They also asked what I knew about kdb and AquaQ in general.
I applied online. I interviewed at AquaQ Analytics
Interview
Followed procedure stated in other reviews, beginning with fairly straight forward logic test completed with pen and paper. This was followed by a few in person logic questions which led into an informal interview.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AquaQ Analytics (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Jul 2017
Interview
Applied online via their website, they were very quick to reply and invite me to the first interview.
The first stage was a 40 minute written logic test, which included some flowchart and maths style questions, with a "The more you complete, the better" idea.
Next was an interview with 2 people. I found some of the interview questions hard as they seemed to be abstract logic based, such as puzzles as opposed to just straight technical questions. Although there were also standard technical questions, along with some financial ones. They also asked at this stage if I was able to relocate for the role, which hadn't been mentioned before - some advice to the company would be let applicants know this is a requirement before interviewing them - just to save yourselves time. After leaving I realised I had been there just under 2 hours, including the test.
The next stage I was given a week to complete 10 hours of activities in the language they regularly use - q. This was difficult and time consuming but there are resources online if you get stuck.
