The terrible job market shouldn't be an excuse for talent acquisition people to treat you like garbage. I applied for a PR Manager role and got an invite to interview. I promptly replied with days and times I could meet for an intro call, and 2 weeks went by with no reply. Then, yesterday I got an email saying they MISTAKENLY asked me to interview and they weren't actually interested in me. See below for the two emails that came from the company, copy and pasted:
Dear Natalie,
Thank you for taking the time to apply to us at Apryse! As the next step in our hiring process, we would like to set up a call with you to discuss the Public Relations Manager and your experience.
This call will likely take about 30 minutes of your time. Please message me back with a few options across the next two weeks that work best for you to connect.

Here's the email telling me they actually don't want to meet with me:
Hi,
We wanted to reach out as an email inviting you to schedule an interview for the PR Manager role was sent in error due to a system issue. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm truly disgusted with this company.
