Applied Software Technology Software Developer interview questions

I was contacted by a recruiter. The recruiter was very positive. I was given a simple coding challenge (2 questions about for loops and if statements and basic OOP) which I completed. I scheduled a time to meet with a hiring manager. The hiring managers talked about their development team and process. I didn't hear anything back for 1.5 weeks, the recruiter called and said the hiring managers decided to pass and provided no feeback. Providing zero feedback reflects poor hiring practice.
