Initial interest came from the CEO. The interview was with the outgoing IT person during his two week notice period. He wasn't a bad guy and the CEO was also professional. Mostly non-technical questions, I probably was in the wrong pay bracket. My wife was acquainted with the person hired during this process and he said they offered very low compensation and had a few problems getting them to pony up for needed equipment. Also heard that all of their IT infrastructure came from eBay and nothing new was purchased. Might have provided good experience, but would probably have been a tough place to work. Sounds like "get it done and don't spend anything doing it".
