      Quality Rater Interview

      30 May 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Charlotte, NC
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Appen (Charlotte, NC) in Mar 2017

      Interview

I looked at this site for info on this company before I decided to "work for them". I should've listened to the people on here. This is a scam company, don't waste your time, seriously. They make you do 8 hours of unpaid training, then when you're finally ready to start work there is a hold up of about 2 months while you get all new hire paperwork together (by printing, signing, then scanning to turn in). I got to actually work for 1 week, then employment was terminated due to "lack of accuracy". I read every direction and did every single task thoroughly and exactly how I was trained to do it. So if accuracy was really the problem why would they keep me on after the 8 hours of training? Isn't that what it's supposed to be for? Because they are a scam company and they just want free workers. They also get your bank info so beware of this company! Its a scam! Biggest waste of time ever!!
