I applied online. I interviewed at Anytime Fitness (New York, NY)
Interview
Pretty extensive. First is a phone interview with the owner. After that I had to go into the club and take a personal training test. The questions ranged from science, to practical and sales. A few days later I got invited to come in for a interview and a practical with the fitness director. Usually those are done separately but they were in a rush because a new club was opening so I did them on the same day. I also had to write a program for a made up client.
It was very easy. There were three interviews conducted: there was one phone interview, then one zoom interview, and then finally, one in person interview where you meet the staff.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Anytime Fitness (River Falls, WI)
Interview
One phone screening and one in person interview with live skills assessment/demo. Took the manager through a quick workout and acted as a personal trainer with a basic exercise to analyze my coaching style
The interview was very friendly, and they were very understanding and open-minded. The staff was very understanding regarding my situation being a student and said that they will still keep me in mind when I am done with school.
