      Customer Service Representative Interview

      9 Aug 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AnswerNet in Aug 2022

      Interview

I had several interviews. One with the recruiter, one with my supervisor, and then the last one with their boss. They asked questions to make sure I had the experience and jobskills needed for the position.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What I would do in a situation with an angry customer? How many times do you think it's acceptable to not call or show up to work in the first 90 days?

      Interview

Got to do the online preliminary test. Then you get an e-mail saying you did or did not achieve 70%. You've been warned the test is not accurate of anyone's capacity to do the job. I've done many tests before for other companies and there's never been an issue.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

You have to do this online test where every question is timed. It's a typing test, situational test and grammar test. The test is very badly created. The grammar questions are not straightforward and depending on how you view things the answer could be different. Things such as counting mistakes but it's not black or white. Mind you I failed it despite I have a bachelor's degree a cegep degree and worked in customer service for many years. That alone tells you that test doesn't do a good job in figuring out someone's level of English. So they want to test you to see if you are good enough but they can't even measure up to their own standards. They really don't care if what they're doing is correct or not.

      Interview

Easy, basic questions asked, listened to an employee take a few calls to determine if i was still interested and if i would be able to handle it. I was told how a normal day would usually go and given schedule information and was told to come back the next day for orientation.
