I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Anduril in Dec 2020
Interview
Phone interview with recruiter, phone interview with hiring manager, then finally onsite panel interview in Irvine, Ca. Onsite interview required a technical presentation for the team/interviewers. Pretty straight forward process. Every interviewer told me they previously worked at SpaceX, but had essentially been burnt out.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Anduril (Costa Mesa, CA) in May 2026
Interview
(1) Phone call with recruiter, (2) Call with hiring manager, (3) Onsite panel: presentation and 4 separate 30 min interviews. Onsite interview were mostly white board technical problems... basic ME dynamics, structures, materials, GD&T etc.
First a screening with the hiring manager. Then an onsite presentation and interviews with individual team members. The overall experience was positive and gave a good opportunity to understand the company and its culture. I would recommend interviewing there.

Interview
A 3rd party company will probably call you first and make it seem like youre the best candidate they have ever seen, then you will get a phone call interview with a low level engineer in the company who has mediocre social skills and then you will move on to a manager who has below average social skills and also a very busy schedule so they might miss your interview a couple times
